Energy Toolbase has officially wrapped up 2019, one of our biggest years ever since our company founding back in 2014. The numbers below prove it! We expanded our reach on a number of fronts, added over 20,000 rates to our database, launched new energy storage integrations, helped facilitate thousands of solar & energy storage projects around the world (unfortunately we don't have an official count on exactly how many), and announced our merger with Pason Power which led to roughly a doubling in our number of team members!

Here's our 2019 year in review "by the numbers":

6,168,970

The number of page views on our application surpassed 6 million in 2019, which effectively tracks user activity when logged onto our platform. As we head into the new year, anyone can test drive Energy Toolbase with a 14-day free trial

1,256,000

The number of impressions we accumulated on our Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn pages surpassed one million this year. We're very active on social media where we keep our followers up to date on our latest product announcements, market news, and policy updates. If you don't already, follow us on Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn to see all of our updates.

The number of views we had on our Vimeo and YouTube channels. These channels are where we post our webinar recordings, demo and tutorial videos so they're available to anyone on demand.

56,859

The number of active, global rates in the database at the end of 2019. Energy Toolbase is the only software platform with an in-house utility rates team that is constantly creating and updating utility rates in our database. Our utility rates team also creates thousands of custom rates for Energy Toolbase users each year, which is not included in this number. For any questions about global or custom rate schedules, please email our rates team directly at: utilityraterequest@energytoolbase.com

46,280

The number of page views we had to our blog throughout the calendar year 2019. Our Newsroom is where we post blogs, policy updates, press releases, and feature announcements.  We attempt to provide a mix of educational content for solar + storage developers just getting started in the industry, and also for experienced developers looking for the most recent and informative content on current issues affecting the market.

3,735

The number of webinar registrations we had throughout the year. Our Account Management team hosts weekly webinars on a variety of topics from general demos, to energy storage specific training's. We also host a number of webinars on what's happening in the market and the effects those changes will have on projects. Sign up for our upcoming webinar we are co-hosting with SolarEdge and LG Chem "Developing residential energy storage projects in 2020: The breakout year for residential storage"

150

The number of webinars we hosted in 2019.

44

The number of full-time employees we now have at Energy Toolbase after our merger with Pason Power in September of this year. Our team nearly doubled in size, giving us added bandwidth to expand our platform's capabilities and increase our product offerings.

The number of energy storage service provider integrations we released this year. We now have both residential and commercial integrations that allow users to run dispatch simulations representative of how different Energy Storage System equipment vendors will operate in the field.

What's ahead in 2020?

The new year will bring a lot of changes to our platform and product offering, which we'll be announcing in the coming months. Our merger with Pason Power will ultimately enable us to provide a unified, end-to-end suite of project estimating, storage control and asset monitoring products which will enable developers to more efficiently develop and deploy projects. Be sure to follow our blog and social media pages for upcoming announcements. We're excited as ever about 2020 and the decade ahead. Happy New Year!
